MaryAnn Broughton
Corporate communications
MaryAnn studied Japanese for her degree at the University of Oregon, then later at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, with a particular focus on politics. She worked in Japan for four years for the Gunma Prefectural government (Takasaki City office), then in Washington DC for the Japanese Embassy, before taking on various roles at Mizuho International in London, spanning strategy, external communications and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Fully conversant with the ways of the Japanese private and public sectors, MaryAnn plays a crucial role in many of our projects.
